Thar’s Thirsty Land
Helpless & Disastrous.

Only 47% with Excess to Water —- Are You OK with
Thar’s Water Crises?

Thirst cries out,

and hope fades in Thar.

In this harsh desert, masjids – the houses of Allah – stand as pillars of faith and survival.

But even they are struggling.

Worshippers cannot perform wudhu, and villagers have no choice but to rely on these masjids for their daily water needs.

The answer seems simple—water. But here, water is buried deep, 300 feet or more beneath the earth.

Regular hand pumps can’t reach it.

What’s needed are solar-powered hand pumps with the strength to draw water from such depths, large storage tanks to hold it, and multiple faucets to serve everyone.

Walking 5 miles

EVERY DAY TO GET WATER

Imagine walking 5 miles every day, only to return with muddy water.

Imagine coming to pray, but there’s no water for wudhu. That’s the reality for these communities.

A solar-powered hand pump can change everything.

It will bring clean water for wudhu, drinking, and daily life. It will restore dignity and hope.

But it comes at a cost. Each pump costs $3,500. To serve all 6 masjids, we need $21,000.

We have until 1st January 2025 to raise the funds.

This is a chance to give life, ease, and relief to those who have endured so much. Your donation can be their answer.

Act now. Be the reason water flows in Thar. Be the reason a prayer is fulfilled.

Ek Plate Biryani has helped about 50,000 people get access to water across Thar.

It is time to reach out to more people.

Abu Huraira reported

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

The best charity is giving water to drink (Hadith, Ibn Majah)

Your few dollars can reward not just the helpless people in Thar but also YOU.

Your Sadaqah Jariyah is a Lifeline for Worshippers and Villages

This End of Year, Ek Plate Biryani is determined to install solar-powered hand pumps in five masjids in Thar to solve their water crisis.

Your donation is not just charity—it’s Sadaqah Jariyah that keeps giving.

SADAQAH JARIYAH

It creates a legacy that benefits you and your generations even after you leave for your final destination. It is the real win in a Muslim’s life.

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains.

And Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing

(Qur’an, 2:261)

Benefits of
Sadaqah e Jariya

It’s not just helping others with an amount. It is an investment for now and thereafter!

Sadaqah:

A Spiritual Remedy for Incurable Diseases

When nothing works against severe illness and incurable diseases, it’s your charity that covers you.

The Prophet of Allah (S.A.W) said,

Treat your sick ones with charity

Al – Jami Al-Saghir # 5669)

A Never-Ending Reward for Your Loved Ones

The best gift we can send to our late parents, siblings, or friends is a sadaqah. Bless them in the other world with a small act of kindness & generosity.

Sa’d ibn Ubadah reported: He said,

O Messenger of Allah,

my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet ﷺ said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best? The Prophet ﷺ said, “Providing water”

(Hadith, An-Nasa’i)

Grow Your Wealth with Sadaqah

As Muslims, we know that charity not only does not decrease our
wealth, it multiplies it.

The Prophet Muhammad
(peace be upon him) said:

“On the night on which I was taken on the Night Journey (Isra), I saw written at the gate of Paradise: ‘Charity brings a tenfold reward and a loan brings an eighteen-fold reward.

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 15, Hadith 2431)

Al – Jami Al-Saghir # 5669)

Shield Yourself and Your Family

What’s better than the divine force protecting you and your family when everything turns against you?

Give the Sadaqah without delay, for it stands
in the way of calamity.”

(Al-Tirmidhi 589)

Your generosity invites Allah’s mercy and support, and when you earn this, nothing can harm you.

Protection On The Day of Judgment

Sadaqah extinguishes Allah’s anger.

The Prophet Muhammad
(peace be upon him) said:

Indeed charity extinguishes the Lord’s anger
and it protects against the evil death.

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Book 7, Hadith 48).

On the day of judgment, when every human will desperately look for any good, he/she might have done, it’s your Sadaqah, which will be as big as Mount Uhd, leading you to rewards & happiness.

Gets You Closer to Forgiveness

Your charity invites Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

Sa’d ibn Ubadah reported: He said,

O Messenger of Allah,

Charity extinguishes the sins like
water extinguishes a fire.

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3973).

So, what’s stopping you? Unlimited benefits for only a few dollars is definitely the best investment ever.
