A Young Worker Carrying a Big Responsibility

We met 13-year-old Muzammil, a young boy who works full-time at a bicycle shop, where he manages the inventory, cleans the shop, and helps assemble bicycles. Despite coming from a distant part of Karachi every day, he continues to work hard to support his family.

Muzammil shared that he lost his father when he was only five years old and, as the eldest among his siblings, has taken on responsibilities far beyond his age. We listened to his story, learned about his struggles, and offered him support and a small token of encouragement—a reminder that his hard work and resilience are seen and valued.
