A Child Working Beyond His Years

We met 11-year-old Abdul Rahman, the youngest among his four sisters, who works full-time at a bicycle shop from morning until night—often 12 hours or more—to help support his family. Earning just Rs. 200 a day, he spends his childhood assembling, cleaning, and repairing bicycles for others.

At an age when most children dream of riding bicycles, Abdul Rahman works hard to keep them running. We listened to his story and supported his family with a grocery ration bag, offering a small gesture of care and dignity to a child carrying responsibilities far beyond his years.
