Supporting a Father’s Daily Struggle

We met 65-year-old Rasheed Uncle, who sells children’s toys from a small table on the footpath, working from 2 PM to 10 PM each day. Despite spending long hours at work, his daily sales are barely Rs. 500–600, with only Rs. 100–200 left as profit. A former factory worker, he now works to support his family, including his two young children, while his wife also contributes by working as a tuition teacher.

To support him, we purchased some of his toys and provided additional cash assistance, helping him earn a little more that day and reminding him that his hard work does not go unnoticed.
