So many parents are letting their kids go to school without breakfast or a lunchbox.
Not because they don’t care for their children…
…but because they don’t have food every day.
Many such street children are studying at a street school, called Street To School, in Karachi.
Street To School was seeing the same problem.
High absenteeism and low academic performances because of children’s compromised health and nutrition status.
These children did not have even one proper meal a day.
Ek Plate Biryani decided to lend them a hand in this good cause.
We are providing fulfilling meals for lunch to all the students at Street To School every day.
The aim is to encourage education and make a brighter future possible for street children by giving them at least one fulfilling, healthy meal every day.
Street To School saw a significant improvement in academic performances, attendance, concentration levels, and even behaviors of their students.
